I’m Lucía, a compositing artist with 11 years of experience in the VFX industry. I started my career at 18, driven by my passion for films and TV series, after studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Media Studies.
After spending a couple of years in London improving my English, I moved back to Madrid to study a Master’s degree in 3D and Animation. I began my professional journey at a small VFX studio of around 50 people, where I initially joined as a producer assistant and shortly after, transitioned into the compositing department.
Working in a small studio allowed me to understand the VFX pipeline as a whole, working closely with supervisors, attending shoots, and leading teams on several occasions. I’ve since worked in different studios across Europe, enjoying the chance to learn new workflows and keep growing with each project.
I’m a hands-on and resourceful artist, fully owning the tasks I’m given. I love figuring out how to tackle things I haven’t tried before, and I’m always looking for ways to do them better.
